Shop of the Future

A supermarket in London is the first to use a new way of paying.

Read the following words and phrases and their definitions.
  • veins - the tubes that carry blood from parts of the body back to the heart
  • spree - a short period of time when you do a lot of something
  • unique - unlike anything or anyone else; being the only one of its kind
  • hassle - something that is annoying or that causes trouble
  • retail - the sale of goods to private customers
  • speedy - fast, quick
  • impulse buying - seeing something and buying it immediately, without thinking about it first
