Daniel Idzkowski lives in San Francisco. He was sick of the many bike thefts in his city. He and his friend decided to do something about it. Now they’ve come up with something.

Read the following words and phrases and their definitions.
  • deterrent - something that makes someone decide not to do something
  • U lock - a bicycle lock shaped like the letter U
  • compromised - harmed or damaged
  • extensively test - do a lot of different tests (to find out if something functions as it should)
  • noxious - very unpleasant; disgusting
